Keyframe
Extrema-sampling time stretch after Nielsen (DAFx26-26): the input is reduced to timestamped local extrema, and an overlap-add splice whose crossfade length follows keyframe spacing holds transients together with no transient detector anywhere in the signal path. Fixed reported latency of 8192 samples.

| Parameters | 9: Time, Pitch, Splice, Threshold, Max Splice, Hold, Mix, Width, Level |
| Caution | Time stops at 1.00x because a live input cannot be read faster than it arrives; the pitch ratio is Pitch divided by Time. A sustained slow-down reaches an internal depth limit of 65536 samples, past which the engine loops the material it holds. That is audible as repeats, and is the same behaviour the source paper reports as a limitation of the method. |
